This is the department of Knight-Racer which introduces ECU remapping on most Petrol and Turbo Diesel engines. You may have seen some remaps giving you optimum power output while significantly increasing fuel consumption, or remaps that give you optimum fuel economy but sacrificing power as a result. What we recommend is our "Hybrid Remap", which is currently our most popular remap choice, offering the best combination of power increase while still improving your fuel economy compared to your factory ECU settings.
If you drive a Turbo Diesel, you can benefit from up to 15% improvement in MPG & 25% improvement in performance. If you drive a petrol car (either turbo or non-turbo) you will benefit from more power & better throttle response.
Our customers who have had this remap performed have experienced a better driving experience while noticing an improved fuel consumption on either their on-board Mpg display or miles per fill up. Power runs before and after. As you can see from the graphs the Power increases from 210bhp to 230.6bhp, and the torque increase from 455Nm to an astonishing 590.3Nm! This is without any mechanical upgrades, but just a remap alone!
Even without the access of a rolling road facility, you can use a widely available iPhone/iPod application (which uses G-meter readings) equally shows the dramatic increases in power (orange line). Notice the improved 0-60mph times.
